Updating to firmware v4 has cured the problem with the battery. Thanks for your help there. The question of the unit autostarting remains.

I want to fit a D10A in a glider, principally as an artificial horizon, where there is no place to mount a remote compass module but would like to fit an OAT to give me TAS when wave flying. Is there an OAT that wires directly into the EFIS?
