We have an AP74, EFIS D10A, EMS D10 hooked up via DSAB. The problem lies in the dimming of the EFIS and EMS. AP74 NAV button not enabled using Garmin 396: Solv Problem solved. After a firmware upgrade of the 396, the default setting in the advanced communication settings is 'off' for navigation information.
