    What is driving the turn guidance you are following with the FD? A heading bug? GPS route navigation? There has to be something making the FD want to turn and then you just follow it. Or are you expecting the FD to follow your lead when you start a turn (which isn't how they work)?

    I've seen that on MS Flight Simulator, never in a Boeing cockpit and didn't know Dynon could generate it. I suppose it could be used for instrument training but probably not a good sign if someone needs that to maintain SA.

    I assumed the map display was capable of using GPS position for ownship position/heading and to position traffic hits on the map as Foreflight does. It's a moot point since the ADAHRS has a magnetometer and will be calibrated and happy before we fly, which is quickly approaching.
