Anyone else have issues downloading the latest SA data. I’ve been unsuccessful using 2 different usb sticks that I’ve been using successfully for several years.

Mine have been trying to download for 24 hours now-- looks to be about halfway there. Something happened! Same computer, same disc, nothing changed on my end.

I’m guessing a hardware failure but just to throw something out there—- have you, by chance, recently used a new usb stick for data base or charts? If so, try removing the stick or change back to what you were using. Doubt it’s your issue but worth checking.

Did you happen to measure the old resistor to actually see if the value changed?

I may be wrong, but I believe that the Dynon will compensate for the lack of changes in the sender. Just do the calibration per the instructions and the Dynon will take care of the rest.

Can’t answer your question.  I do have an opinion that I’m sure will be argued by some.  I would suggest that, if you are just starting your IFR training, forget about all the bells and whistles for now.  Learn the basics first.  All those goodies may not work all the time and it’s best to have...

Think about it— ANY VDO 0-10 bar sensor with the proper thread will work.  Some have 2 posts if you prefer to use a separate ground.  I found what you need in 30 seconds of searching— I bet you could too.  I cant give you the exact number because I don’t know what your preference may be...

1) I would think that the last map source used should still be displayed when selecting a vhf source. 2) I have a Garmin 496 as my second gps source. I don't think it's capable of supplying map info to be displayed on the skyview. Not sure how that would be handled if set to auto display...

I've always thought that it would make more sense to have the map display the pfd source by default with the ability to switch if desired. It is quite an undertaking as it is now as you've discovered.

If implemented, I would request it to be configured so one could deselect the feature if desired. There's already too many alerts in my opinion.

Where are you located??

I'm not seeing a way to get rid of the airport IDs on the PFD horizon line. It is VERY cluttered and distracting--IMO it's much more distracting than the oval HSI everyone seems to dislike. Am I missing a way to deactivate this feature?

I've got to say that I flew with v15 and found no objection to the oval HSI.
