The pipes are 3/16" in diameter and the manual makes reference to an adapter. Unfortunately, I cannot find any details on what they are, part numbers, or a source. Any help in locating these adapters will be greatly appreciated.  :-/

I have opted not to re-wire my trim wires and keep them controlled by the VPX. My quandary is how to get the trim position to show on the EMS screen. The VPX manual states that Skyview will receive the trim position through the serial data stream. How? Also, I don't like the trim indicator - I...

When I had this issue on a previous airplane, the problem ultimately found was an unknown faulty connector in the cable that was hidden behind a panel. This would tend to support a cabling/high SWR issue as the problem.

Additional follow-up: with the network reconnected as originally done, all components are detected EXCEPT the EMS-220. It was never upgraded, and every time I tried to do it, the loader failed. :D

As a follow-up, the EMS-220 (and possibly the D700) seems to be the culprit. When I connect it to the D1000, using the test cable, and making sure that it is connected to nothing else, the D1000 reverts - detecting nothing but itself. Remove the test cable and all is well, except that the...

Thanks for the hints. First - Amber light on solid, green light slow blink. Removed everything but the D37, no joy. Tried pushing button 1 to force a startup, no joy. The harnesses were swapped yesterday - again, no joy. This is going to take a marathon phone call, as I have multiple failures...

Tried holding button 1 down, also,tried 7&8 - no joy. This display has never had power applied to it before yesterday, so it has never booted up. Thanks anyway! :-[

I have a 10" (Primary display), and a 7" (secondary display). The primary powers up fine, but the secondary will not come on at all. I have verified power available to both power pins and ground is present. What next? :(

Because of the routing of my GPS wire bundle, I need to splice the old into the new, with a very short connection to the new GPS puck. Is there any reason why I can't join the wires in DB9 connectors?
