    Crazy feature request.

Vern, I've also developed devices reading and using the Skyview data stream (Flap overspeed warning, Cowl flap controller, Door seal inflater - with more to come) and I second your request. Leon.

    Video input

Dynon, 1) Do you have an estimate of when the Video Adapter will become available? 2) What are the future possibilities for a USB Finger Pad Interface (Software Driver) so that the Touch functions can be accessed from an arm rest mounted Finger Pad (similar to those found on laptops)? Leon...

The New SkyView - Featuring SkyView Touch

Hi Dynon, now that you've created the OS for Touch, how about a facility (driver software) to allow the use of a USB Touchpad?

    SkyView 6.0 Autopilot-IFR Capable w/VFR Simplicity

Thanks Dynon, clearly you have listened to your customer base and have responded favorably beyond expectation. You also have re-affirmed the beautiful design philosophy that attracted so many of us in the first place. Congratulations is in order! I wonder if the new radio can also be operated...

    Advanced Autopilot

Your SV units are brilliant as human interfaces. Please use them as intended by ensuring ALL functions are accessible from the SV screen/buttons. Make additional hardware units for those who want them, but don't exclude those who don't from also enjoying those useful additions. Leon.

    Flap Deployed warning above VFE

I have built a custom flap controller which receives and decodes the Dynon data stream to obtain IAS. This is then used to allow/disallow flap deployment. I can make a small unit (PIC micro) to do this 'stand alone'. (But not right now - deadline to complete Lancair ES looming! Maybe after March...

    Contact inputs on SV harness

From one of your posts: "The contact inputs have a 10K pull-up resistor to 5V." I have linear Pot sliding with the Flaps but the top is supplied with 2.5V from the flap controller which reads it. Connecting it directly to EMS input would alter the slider voltage due to the 10k internal EMS...

    Show us your Skyview Panel!

Here's my (unfinished) Lancair ES cockpit. (RH SV not yet fitted). Those 'tables' slide out to reveal storage space for logbooks, headsets etc. The SV's tilt downward for access to that space. All electrics & batteries are between the firewall and the panels on which SV's are mounted. They hinge...
