Fittings for back of standard altimeter/Airspeed indicator?

Hi all, I'm doing a hybrid digital/analog panel, my Skyview will primarily be used as a MFD instead of a PFD, and I'll be using an analog airspeed and altimeter for that data. Any idea where I could find appropriate fittings for them to use with the standard Dynon pitot-static tubing? Looks...

Using the back of Skyview for wire support? (hear me out)

Update: Won't say who I talked to since I did not ask permission to quote them, but the person said there should be no EMI or heat problems with this solution. After talking with them I did a dry run of removing the Skyview, I'm got 3 Fasstack cables mounted on the back that also need to be...

Using the back of Skyview for wire support? (hear me out)

Kinda boxed myself into a corner here, the best (almost only) way to route the wires to the warning lights is up the back of the Skyview, this is a temporary look-see mockup. I forgot the panel hangs from the top of the "arch" and takes up about 1" with cutouts for the 3 wire lights on the right...

    ADAHRS "T" location?

Hi Jake, Thanks for the heads up, I asked my SeaRey Sensei (Jim Ratte, The SeaRey Specialist https://seareyspecialist.com/), he's been building SeaRey ever since they came out and has never used a remote magnometer in his builds so I'm leaving it out. I can always add one later if I need to.

    Pneumatics parts supplier

Hey all, Since I'm doing a non-standard Skyview installation I'm in need of extra t-fittings, the manual recommends Coastal Pneumatics, here's the location if anyone else needs them: https://www.coastpneumatics.com/product-category/connectors/air-fittings/ Thanks

    ADAHRS "T" location?

To use an ACI Gear Alert in my SeaRey I have to run a line/tap into the pitot feed line, the Gear Alert (https://flyingsafer.com/2080) is the black box mounted vertically behind the ADAHRS, and the simplest thing would be to tap off it as shown. Any problems with it being this close? Yes, it...

    Transponder: TNC. ADSB/Radio: BNC. Why?

Just curious, I've got a 261 transponder that uses a TNC connector, while the ADSB and Garmin GTR-200 radio uses BNC connectors. Is there a reason/convention they're that way, and the transponder does not use a BNC? Thanks

Apologies, should have been more specific. It's for the 261 transponder. Here is the answer from the Mothership:

Advanced Aircraft Electronics L-2 transponder antenna?

Anyone tried this with a Skyview Classic? Building a composite SeaRey and it would fit nicely in the nose by the transponder. http://www.advancedaircraft.com/ Thanks

    Transponder & ADSB antenna location?

Thanks. In the long run, RG cable is cheap compared to living with interference. Shoutout to Steinair for patiently taking and answering my calls. Buying as much from there as I can instead of ACS, gotta support small businesses.

    Transponder & ADSB antenna location?

Thanks. I know there must be a reason why not, but I wonder if I could just mount one of them to the underside of the avionics tray, but at least 3' away from the GPS antenna? Probably too much interference from the power buss and other avionics.

    Transponder & ADSB antenna location?

Building a Progressive Aerodyne SeaRey, just wanted to challenge the "We always do it this way" thinking and am looking for alternative locations for the Transponder/ADSB antennas. Instead of running the wires all the way out to separate wings, I was thinking about putting them inside the...

Adding analog airspeed and altimeter to the Classic Touch pitot-static?

Hi all, I'll be using my 10" D1000 as more of an MFD and have an analog airspeed and altimeter as my primary instruments in the center of the panel. Any thoughts about how/where to tap them into the green/blue/clear lines? Thanks

    OAT/Backup battery connectors?

Hi gang, Really like the size and style of those connectors, I'd like ot use them on a couple other non-Dynon pieces of equipment in my build, anyone know where I can get them, or are they a proprietary Dynon design? Thanks
