2 questions about map page

Question #1: How do I change the zoom knob to A:Clockwise-zoom in, and B: Counter Clockwise-zoom out?

Question #2: After panning the map or otherwise moving around in the map, how do I quickly get back to the view with my plane position and the blue line? I have a touch system and I can do it with the notation on the screen but how do I do it using the buttons?

#2) push the map knob (the one you use for panning/zooming) IN. This snaps you back to having your current position centered on the map.
