Hello.
I'm trying to figure out an issue with flight tracking my own aircraft on Flightaware's web site. Some changes on their end have caused it to no longer to be tracked.

With Skyview and transponder on latest software. Transponder set to auto air/gnd. Does the transponder's DF11 or DF17 message transmit with a CA=5 or a CA=7? They are now ignoring data with a CA=7. I plan to capture the data directly the next time I fly, but that might be a couple days. The above info is from one of their software engineers. They are looking into it.

Does anyone else with Skyview now all of a sudden no longer showing up on Flightaware?

Mine has never shown up on Flight Aware. It always shows up on Flight Radar 24, which is what I use. Better data too, including a flight profile with altitudes and speeds.

No, your aircraft is showing up just fine on Flightaware. I've attached. This brings up additional questions on why I've stopped.

I had the same issue with my airplane. There is a setting on your FlightAware account to display aircraft like yours. If you don't have that selected it will still be tracked but not displayed to you. To activate this on FlightAware, go to MY ACCOUNT, scroll down to #6, select "Show position-only flights", then click on "SAVE". Your airplane should show up now.

No, this is new.  I've been using FA for years and I have my own 1090mhz and 978mhz antennas which send them data.  You can see the related thread here:  http://discussions.flightaware.com/ads-b-flight-tracking-f21/i-m-no-longer-showing-up-t38111.html

They are now ignoring data that isn't CA=5.  I need clarification from Dynon on this.
Yet they still track and display aircraft that only have old transponders. Here is a link to N2260J (C-150) which I fly once in a while. A very old KT76A transponder with no GPS at all and FlightAware still displays the tracks. You have to have the proper FlightAwarre setting to display it.

That's MLAT tracking, not ADS-B. I'm working it out with the person who write's Flightaware's server software. They made a change recently which is causing the issue. It's NOT a web site setting.

I captured the data from my antenna. Here's a small bit for those interested.

Well I'll be doggone! Used to show up some years back, but then quit.

I'm using Dynon's 2020 compliant GPS antenna + system. (Actually, I did over 100 test flights on it while they were developing it, and did quite a few Firmware rolls and a large number of FAA compliance reports.)

N456TS,
We're going to send you an email to work on this more directly. There's clearly some configuration stuff going on here, and it's probably easier to work directly with you and flightaware. We'll try and follow up in this thread once we have it all worked out.
