I'm starting to look at planning the skyview mounting locations on the subpanel of my RV-10. Printing the 3D models is going to really help. My plan is to mount nutplates located by the holes in the 3d-printed models.
However when I import these models into SolidWorks, the model analyzer complains about a whole bunch of errors. Like 4000 of them for the Arinc429 box. Cura also highlights some faces of the model saying they are not "manifold". Then when I print, the mounting holes get filled in with material.
Is there some trick to getting these fixed? Maybe does somebody have a .STL already fixed that I can use?
