It was just released, and it looks like my ADS-B box, antenna, and wiring arrive today via FedEX

Christmas came early! Now to get the install going....

I finished the installation on the ADS-B box and software update to 5.0 and transponder update. I have the slow flash on the box and my connections double check. I notice in the setup menus the ADS-B option is grayed out. Also on the map info page the WX option does not show. My tests are on the ground with gps signals, not flying. Where do I look from here or do I need to be in the air?

Did you configure the serial ports on all screens? Are you seeing messges on the serial lines?

I did not do anything specific with the serial ports. I'm not sure what needs to be done there.

That was the problem, after the serial port configured everything works great.

Yes 5.0 is out and It is sure nice if you have an ADS-B box installed and able to use it  but what about the rest of the world???

Any candy ( Like autopilot VNAV and GS tracking for one ) for us for Christmas even it comes a little late :'(

AP is still in the works. So sorry, not xmas present on that "axis" <chuckles>. We did add some other features for non-ADS-B folks, though!
