Hi,

Any update on availability of the SV-HDX800? Still probable for this year?

Regards,
Craig

We don't have an exact ship date to share. This year ("fall", actually) remains our expectation, but there are a lot of things that come together in the final weeks of testing and production readiness that make it hard to say until we're just about there.

Why is there quite a significant discrepancy in the 7 in screen between the total vertical dimension of the CAD model and pdf files, and in the HDX manual?

There's a small discrepancy in the horizontal dimension too but the vertical one is quite large. I think it might be a misprint from the 10 in screen dimensions?

There are some images in the literature in http://www.dynonavionics.com/product-literature.php that need updating from earlier prototypes, but the docs http://www.dynonavionics.com/drawings-cad-models.php here should be OK, with a 2mm discrepancy in depth (the "can" got very slightly deeper after we published the v15 manual, which we need to update). Which PDFs are you seeing problems with?

Skyview System Installation Guide Rev Z page 4-11, figure 29.

The HDX800 is shown as 7.07 inches tall. Same as the HDX1100 a few pages later! :)

Thanks for pointing this out. The side view of the HDX800 in the manual is incorrect. The correct dimensions can be found by downloading the Panel Cut Out document here:

http://www.dynonavionics.com/downloads/SV-HDX800_Drawing.PDF

We will make sure to correct the manual ASAP.

Probably should update the EAA STC Infomration as well! [ch128579]
