7 inch display real size.

Somewhere on this board it has been mentioned, that for planning purposes, we should leave a 1/2 inch margin all around the 7 inch display. Has that size been nailed down, or could someone from Dynon, speculate as to the actual size the 7 inch display will be?
Of course I would like the 1/2 inch "all around margin" be dispensed with, and the "actual" size templates on the Next Gen web site, be the final size.

Current design dimensions are:

7.616" W x 5.452" T

These design dimensions are largest part of the front bezel. The cutout will be smaller, as the bezel "finishes" the hole for you and mounts with screws on the two sides.

This is pretty much what we expect the final dimensions to be, but if you cut a panel based on that, it's at your own risk.
