Granted I'm still finishing up the plane, and only have the pitch servo installed at the moment (wings not on yet, but soooooooon...), but I have a question about the autopilot.
I read through the manual, and didn't see anything about how to perform a pre-takeoff/runup autopilot check. Has anyone developed this checklist item who could share it?
In the Pipers I'm used to flying, it's on every checklist, and usually is something like
A/P Standby
A/P HDG Mode
Turn HDG bug left, right - confirm pilot can overcome control forces
A/P D/C - operational
A/P Standby
or some such thing. Is there an easy, quick way to do this with SkyView?
TIA, as I'm writing my POH now and this will definitely need to be included...
