Just now made the new firmware and got warnings ADAHRS fail
and EMS fail. And on the screen two diagonal cross.
On the right screen didn't change firmware yet as afraid to stay without avionics at all.

Both screens and all hardware need to be on during the update to either screen

You must update all screens to the same firmware revision or one of the screens will show red X's since the modules are on a different firmware version. So this is fully expected. Update the other screen and it will be resolved.

If you have two displays, part of the firmware update is to update BOTH displays. The left display is now running v11.0; the right display and all the network devices such as the SV-ADAHRS-200 and SV-EMS-220 (and any other network devices - servos, SV-ARINC-429, etc. are still running the previous version of firmware. Thus the left display "can't talk" to the right display and the network devices, and you see the "Big Red Xs".

Once you update the right display, IT will update the network devices, then your system will be back to normal. If you have Dynon AP servos, make sure those are are getting power before starting the upgrade on the right display.

Just now made the new firmware and got warnings ADAHRS  fail and EMS fail. And on the screen two diagonal cross. On the right screen didn't change firmware yet as afraid to stay without avionics at all.

Thanks a lot. There is no problem. But it's necessary to calibrate air speed, as data on the screen are too much than real on the same aircrafts. Approximately 20 kmh (11 knots) How it's possible to do with more simple method?
And what about the map. Is it really I have to pay $500 more?
Could you make a present? As the price for two Dynons was so much.
Thank you in advance,
Oleg Okutin.

Oleg:

Our SV-ADAHRS-200/201s are calibrated at the factory and no calibration should be necessary - the airspeed should be accurate if the pitot is installed correctly.

It's worth trying a Zero Pressure Airspeed Calibration on page 5-10 of the
SkyView System Installation Guide - SETUP MENU > HARDWARE CALIBRATION > ADAHRS CALIBRATION > ZERO PRESSURE AIRSPEED CALIBRATION.

If you're still having an airspeed problem after that, the SV-ADAHRS-200/201 must be returned to Dynon Avionics in the US for repair.

Purchase of the SV-MAP-270 is required to display MAP functions after the 30 Flight Hour Trial has elapsed. Sorry, we cannot make it a present for you. :)

And what do you think about this itemPerforming Pitot-Static Checks? Will it help to make the air speed more accuracy. May be it\s possible to input some coefficient which is calculating from GPS after planing in two opposite directions and taking medium number?
If you never made a present for your customers you could start   any when. And I am ready to get it. May be I am a 10 000th purchaser?

Performing a pitot-static check merely verifies that the pitot static system is functioning correctly - it does not alter the configuration of the pitot static system.

Hellow, crew Dynon.
I've input the license code for the MAP. And bought the soft as you recommended from PocketFMS. And put it on the left screen. As soon as a occurred on the open air the screen started periodically rebooting and show the message "Databases are loading. The using map impossible"
Is it normal situation? And when it will be finished?
And I have message "The battery test is needed". How can I do it?

That's normal for the first little bit (20 seconds or so) after SkyView starts up as the databases are loading in the background. If you're not able to use the map after a minute, something is definitely up.

See chapter 9-4 of the SkyView Installation Guide for the full instructions on how to perform the battery test. You can grab the latest version of that from our documentation downloads page.

Dynon - I have all my avionics online currently except my roll servo, the right wing is off currently while I'm finishing some wiring on the engine install. Do I need to wait until the roll servo is connected to update the software from 5.1 to 11.0, or can I go ahead and update all the connected components now? Will the roll servo need a separate update or will it be passed to it along the comm channels when it gets connected later?

Just went through that recently. I've been updating everything except the roll servo (wings off also) for the last year. I connected the roll servo temporary for testing when updating to 11 and the roll servo updated fine even though it was several versions older.

SkyView can deal with that component's old software when it next sees it. You'll need to upgrade it by doing a network configuration though to update it.
