ADAHRS Calibration?

My HDX display indicates a constant right bank, ball off center to the right, and a steady left cross wind even in straight flight with no wind. Installation is in a composite motor glider with tail wheel called a Phoenix. Does this mean that the ADAHRS is not properly leveled? Thanks Rich Mathies

Yes.

Shim the unit with some elastic washers and get it level.

You might also need to do a compass calibration.

Thanks I have the installation manual and that is what it indicated but I wanted to check with others before embarking. Do you use elastic washers to enable fine tuning by differential tightening? Rich Mathies

Nahhhh, just plastic. You can use strips of sheet aluminium.....or aluminum if you speak funny

Anything that is non magnetic will do.
