Since the last version update, (it was 16.2.4), When I go to the add fuel menu, the current quantity always reads as 0.0, no matter how much fuel is indicated on the fuel remaining widget.

Yuuuup. Found that today when I added gas and went flying for the first time since the update. I "add" 30 gallons and it makes my total 30 gallons. Didn't account for the fuel already in there. Figured it out quick and did the math and made it right, but this change has gotta be a glitch in the matrix.

Fix it, fix it now.

I ran into this bug the other day. It was on an airplane that did not have fuel level senders installed just sight gauges and using fuel flow to
keep track of fuel used. A quick hack I did for him was to just configure a couple of sending units in sensor input mapping (really only need one)
and it made it work again. (had to turn the alarms off for the level sensors, oh and I had to fake a fuel level cal to make it work)
Engineering has the case already to fix the bug.

Mine is as you describe Don, no fuel quantity sensors, only sight gages and fuel flow sensor. Workaround of just "adding" what I calculate new total should be will work for now, but was thinking about installing fuel level sensors. Do you recommend resistive or capacitance sensors?

You can use the attached file to add fuel level in the background to make the fuel computer work.
Don't load this if you already have something configured on pins 19 or 20

Thanks but I’m gonna wait for the patch.

Hi Don, As you suggested when installing my new radio (which works beautifully now) I updated my firmware to the new version (SkyView HDX 16.2.4 Software (12/02/2021) and found this exact same issue, but declaring myself incompetent to understand your solution, I only ask : How often do updates and or "debugs" are offered by Dynon? Thanks again for your help!!!

I experienced the same. My airplane only has sight tubes to measure actual quantity.
Hope this referenced bug fix is included in the next update.
Thanks guys for the confirmation.
