Adding back in previously removed widgets & text info

Pages 7-85 and 7-86 in the SkyView System Installation Guide - Revision AE describe how to add a sensor or info widget to the EMS screen, and later how to remove it. However, once a widget or text info is removed, it no longer appears in the selection menu, and thus can't be added back in again.

How can I put back any widgets or info text that I have removed?

I have a SV-HDX-1100 with the latest software updates (SkyView_15_4_7_US_Package_HDX1100_Jun03.duc).

They should still be in the widget or info items list, just not starred. Which one can't you find? Can you post pictures?

Agreed... they should be there, but they're not. I removed the "flaps" and "trim" widgets, and the "% Power" and "ROP/LOP Status" text infos from the 100% and 50% windows. I missed the bottom window. Those two texts are still in the bottom window and in the items lists - starred, of course, but no longer in the 100% or 50% windows. The "flaps" and "trim" widgets were never in the bottom window, and now are totally missing from all three windows and items lists.

So the only thing that comes immediately to mind is that things only show up on the list if they're available in the system. The main prerequisite for that is that they have to have to be pin mapped in the pin mapping configuration. Once they're there, they won't be removed if the pin is unmapped or otherwise changed in the configuration, but they won't show up in the list once removed. So check that out.

I'm sorry... I don't understand. I don't know what "pin mapped" means. Where would I find the "pin mapping configuration"?

Should I call technical support about this?

So the section you're looking for in the installation guide is "EMS Sensor Mapping Explanation" (downloadable at http://docs.dynonavionics.com), which currently starts at page 7-75. But yes, give our support team a call and they can take you through it.
