Adding waypoint while in flight?

I have probably overlooked the directions but I would like to add a waypoint while flying over certain sites so I could find the site again.
Is there an easy to do this?

if you want to store a place that you've just flown over - MAP MENU > CREATE WAYPOINT on SkyView Classic/Touch. On SkyView HDX, it's MENU > USER WAYPOINTS > ADD PRESENT POSITION.
