AFAIK, no. Autonomous mode is only available on 978MHz units, the DYNON is a 1090MHz device.

The Dynon is a Mode S transponder. Anonymous mode is not possible with any Mode S transponder since they all send your N number every broadcast roughly once per second. It will take the FAA changing the system to allow the transmissions to be encrypted to prevent this. They have been quite resistant to this to this point. It is the primary reason I keep and use my Mode 3A/C transponder. Air Traffic Control needs to know my location when I am using those services but without anonymous mode, every person with access to the internet knows I am not home as well. It is a privacy and security issue for me.

And an accountability issue for the FAA - without the N-number being broadcast by the transponder, they won't be able to enact "User Fees" for airspace use, which seems to be the way we are headed.

The NBAA, AOPA, and others have worked with the FAA to address privacy concerns with ADS-B 1090 MHz ES transponders. So the FAA came up with the Privacy ICAO Address (PIA) program. Since it involves third parties, I believe there is a cost for a third party call sign. I'm not familiar with the PIA program, or if it's easy to utilize, but it's worth a look. Certainly not as easy as the Anonymous Mode switch offered by some of the 978 MHz ADS-B OUT units.

General info: https://www.avweb.com/aviation-news/faa-acts-to-preserve-ads-b-data-privacy/

Details from the FAA: https://www.faa.gov/nextgen/equipadsb/privacy/

It appears that third party call signs are available from ForeFlight, FlightPlan, and FlightAware.
