I keep getting traffic warnings at 00 feet and my same location. It is to the point where if it calls out real traffic I almost blow it off because of all of the ghost traffic calls almost once every 3 minutes.

Because of this problem I upgraded the ADS system to the 472 and I still got the traffic warnings.

I just upgraded the software to V 16.0.1 and I was excited to not keep hearing TRAFFIC all the time however my happy face turned upside down when I kept hearing the traffic warnings the whole flight.

When I did the upgrade I made sure all of the busses were powered so my 472 was powered and received the update.

Is there a fix for this...PLEASE?!?!?

Need a lot more information that what you provided. It sounds like you have a configuration problem so it is probably best is to call the DYNON help desk and have them walk you through it.

This is mostly likely a configuration issue. Your tail number not matching your hex code is the most common one. But you might follow up with our support team to get more personalized help here.

Bill,
In the settings menu, TRAFFIC SETUP > SHOW GHOST TRAFFIC is set to NO? INITIAL RADIUS set to .25 NM?

Can you get me diagnostic files from a recent flight where you were getting the ghost.
You can submit it here: https://www.dynonavionics.com/data-datalogs-upload.php

The Dynon Diagnostic File only records data for the previous hour of SkyView operation (power on time, not just flight), so do do this as soon as possible after you land.

If you have two SkyView displays, do this for both. When saving the file, in the remarks, differentiate which file is for which unit.

1. Insert a USB flash drive.
2. SETUP MENU > SYSTEM SOFTWARE > EXPORT DYNON DIAGNOSTIC FILE > (right click) > (fill out the information requested) > EXPORT (button)
3. Diagnostic file will be saved to the USB flash drive
4. Upload the file using http://www.dynonavionics.com/docs/upload.html (it's a large file - too big to email).
5. In the "Enter a message here (optional)" area. Also, please include a detailed description of the problem you're reporting. The more background detail you provide, the more likely it is that we can analyze the data and find the problem you're reporting.

The DDF contains one hour of data, sampled as often as 16 times per second. Thus there are tens of thousands of samples in the file.
Do not forget to enter a short description of the problem you are having with your SKYVIEW as well as the date and time (zulu) of the event in question
