Flying to OSH with several other planes...one of the guys has an ADS-B IN receiver that feeds his iPAD with ForeFlight (I think that's it). His system is showing all sorts of things the SV doesn't have...ADS-B NOTAMS, PIREPS, AIRMETs, etc.

What gives? Are we going to get these data soon, as well?

Here I was bragging about my Dynon system, and his little iPad and a separate box beat it hands-down for this sort of into... :(

Ipad is non-certified, Dynon is a certified system. What you are seeing is what ADS-B is capable of and at a far less expensive way than what a fixed panel can offer. Be nice if there was a way to get ADS-B on the SV panel (even if it was non certified) just like Wing X, iflightplanner and foreflight do today, using an external receivier and usb connection, or bluetooth.

Steve,
Like all things in SkyView, we implement features from customer requests. We haven't done PIREPS, SIGMETS, and AIRMETS yet as the customer demand has been low, but they are on the list for sure. If there is enough interest, we'll move it up.

Skyview is not a certified system.  The only certified part of the system is the transponder.

SV already provides ADS-B on the panel...via the ADS-B receiver. Just not all of what ADS-B provides.

No need to connect anything via USB or Bluetooth. Not being sarcastic here, but did you read the SV literature, including the ADS-B receiver box?

Well, here's a vote to move it up :)
