ADS-B traffic info

I've started seeing a few targets on the map with N-numbers. Cool! But what's the info underneath that? I had one this weekend that had:

N12345
7753

(N-number is made up here, obviously, but the 7753 was actually what it displayed). Transponder code? Shouldn't be, as 7700-codes are emergencies, right?

What is that?

It's likely the flight number for scheduled aircraft. We've seen this a few times ourselves and are looking into it.

The callsign was something like "N182AB", and it wasn't going fast enough to be a jet, as far as I could tell...I assumed it was a C182, given its altitude and speed...
