ADS-B WX - what's next?

I *love* the in-cockpit weather capabilities with the ADS-B box. And I want *more*

What's on the horizon for ADS-B weather capabilities? Winds aloft? Animated NEXRAD? Something else?

I have no idea what the plans are for ADS-B data from the FAA, just was wondering what the future might hold here.

Those are basically the only two things that are possible that we don't already do (that is in the data), along with better depictions of METAR status (IFR/VFR/ETC) on the map itself. All of those are on the list to add/improve, but, no promises on if/when at this point.

Winds aloft would be a huge benefit. I fly lots of cross country with mine and could really use updated winds data during my trips. Dynon, thank you for considering this--sooner the better.

I would love to put in a request to add animated nexrad. I had it on XM and it makes it even more useful.
