ADS-B

I installed a 470 shortly after we finished our rv6A
We configured it according the instructions but it only works when it feels like it. Received weather info two or three times over the past year and ADS- B shows no radar. I've read some of the discussions on this topic and think I understand the ADS-B part of it but not the weather info part.
Please help

I'm guessing he is in Clayton, MI.
For the serial connection, you have consistent "good sentences" and low error count? What antenna are you using and have you confirmed good connections?

I'm located in Clayton Mi
The antenna is a delta pop which is the same as in using for transponder.
I have verified connection is good and light is blinking fast like it should.

What are you seeing in the serial port setup page for the device? Are there ONLY good sentences incrementing? Or do you see group errors as well? Is the RX counter going up continuously?

Also, make sure you've turned the weather on under the LAYERS menu. When you do, you'll have a widget on the lower left hand corner that tells you the age of the NEXRAD imagery. What do you see there? Are the times there always red?
