I received my 472 upgrade yesterday and have followed the directions for upgrading the Dynon system. Seems to be working OK except for the blinking green light on the receiver, is one blink every second considered rapid or slow.
Weather has not been good enough to flight test yet but on the ground the unit showed traffic at 4100 ft above me with tail numbers.

That sounds like slow, although I'll have to double-check with our engineers. Have you looked in SETUP MENU > ADS-B STATUS > STATUS to check what it says? NO SIGNAL is what you'd expect when it's hooked up properly but not in range of a ground station (or NOT FOUND if there's a wiring/config problem, or RECEIVING if it's hooked up, working correctly, and getting data from the ground).

It says No Signal. If the clouds open up I'll check it in the air later.

I got my replacement 472 installed today. On the ground, with no radar coverage, I can see many traffic icons here in Santa Monica. I am thrilled to finally also have 1090ES reception. I have had ADSB since Dynon first offered a receiver, since late 2012, and I have become accustomed to its many benefits. I think it should be MANDATORY for all aircraft! Thank you Dynon.
