ADSB In 470 Connection Question

I have just received my ADSB 470 module and have two questions regarding the installation and setup:

1. When I wire up the harness at the Skyview unit, can I plug into a SV-Net-Hub? I'm aware the power and ground are direct wired and not through the Hub.

2. If I can use the hub, how do I determine which Serial Port I used?

Devices connected to SkyView use one of either a serial port, SkyView Network, or ARINC. The hub only splits SkyView Network devices like the ADAHRS, EMS module, Knob / AP panels, and a few others. The SV-ADSB-470 is a serial device, so it doesn't use the hub at all. It needs its data wires connector to a SkyView display's serial port. Note that if you have two displays, you parallel both the transmit and receive of the serial wires to both displays for redundancy.
