Adding the Dynon ADSB to my Skyview in my experimental has been on my wish list for 2 years since the build was complated. I'm reluctant to buy and install it anytime soon because my understanding is that it is not FAA complaint for the 2020 mandate (I have the Dynon transponder so already see some traffic).
What do you folks think? Any advice is appreciated.

The Dynon Avionics SV-ADSB-470 is "ADSB-IN", thus not really part of the controversy about the FAA ADS-B 2020 mandate.

I think adding the SV-ADSB-470 is a no brainer it works well it really compliments the whole system. You will not regret adding the box. : :D

As DYNON Support stated, the FAA 2020 mandate (ADS-B OUT) has nothing to do with the SV-ADSB-470 module which is ADS-B IN. If you have the SV-XPNDR-261 connected to a compliant position source with correct software versions (the DYNON GPS module is not a compliant position source) then you will have complied with the 2020 mandate.

I absolutely agree--the ADSB is certainly one of the most useful add-ons that you can get for the Skyview display. Viewing the METAR of a destination airport from 50 miles out is a very big plus for me. Total available traffic is amazing.
