ADSB receiver

I just finished installing adsb-470 receiver. I've got all the wires and connectors installed and double checked and I've got a slow all red blinking light on the unit itself.
WHen I go into the setup menu and configure the serial ports I find that I have no listing of the a DSB receiver and only the items that I have already installed. Any ideas? My next plan is to switch the wires to a different serial port and try again.

Greg, I'm confused. You mean you don't find the ADSB choice for that serial port? It is in the list of options, you may have to scroll down further to find it.

Prior to software version 5.0 there was no listing for the ADSB receiver. Do you need to update?

Well, I redid the data connections. soldered, this time. Now it works!

I actually received signal inside my metal hangar from the Adsb tower on our field.
