Airport Status Not Showing in Weather Layer

A few weeks ago I observed that the airport status (green VFR dot) was not being displayed in the weather layer. The airport status always updated within a few minutes airborne. The SV-ADSB-472 status show good. I can get current conditions on the airport status screen. I have not observed any precip being displayed lately but none expected on the days I flew. Next time I fly I will zoom out to see if any precip is displayed. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot?

My guess is there may not have been any FIS-B data available in the area you were in. It happens, unfortunately. Did anyone else have it?

I wondered that too. A second flight a few days later the problem persisted. I'll spend some quality time today with my plane today and report back.

There was an outage at least in the southeast last week. I was getting radar data for both regional and national according to the ADSB 472 but no textural weather at all. I also have another ADSB weather source and it showed the same thing. The outage was with FAA. All working normally again as of yesterday.

There must have been an outage. I flew last week and the airport category was displayed on the weather layer.
