Airspeed Trend Indicator?

Have there been any reported issues with the airspeed trend indicator? Mine doesn't seem to function in accordance with the documentation where it is supposed to provide a prediction of the airspeed six seconds from "now" assuming current acceleration/deceleration remains steady.

Last night in an idle power zoom climb (approach Vmax, pull vertical, reduce power to idle), the trend indicator showed little deceleration even though the ASI tape was moving pretty rapidly from 165 down to <40.

Did I miss a setup option someplace perhaps? This is with software rev 14.1 BTW.

Agreed that it doesn't look like it's a 6 second trend (it looks to be more like 1-2 seconds based on a quick bench test). Will report it to the development team. Thanks!

To confirm, the fix is not in V15. It's on our list to fix, but when is not yet known.

Any updates on when we might see a fix for this bug? It was broken in v14, still broken in v15.

Or perhaps it's something that should just be removed from the pilot's guide since it doesn't really exist?
