Altitude calibration

I found on a recent flight that my Skyview was showing altude 300 ft higher than my backup, and ATC said my Xponder was showing the same. Today I went to the hangar to investigate this and found that when set to the current altimeter, instead of showing the normal 980' msl the Skyview was showing 1500'. I found the calibration in setup to correct this, but have since read Dynon's comments about systems not leaving the factory unless they are within 15'. What could be causing this change?

A simple check - disconnect the static line at the ADAHRS, that may show up any blockage/water in line. Other than that DS may want to chime in. ;)

What Jake said. If there's nothing messing with the static pressure (water sometimes does this, as he indicates), you should get in touch with tech support so we can see about taking a look at your ADAHRS.

I mentioned the water bit because I think you had changed your static system - (from another forum I watch) :)

Followup: Disconnecting the static from the ADAHRS didn't cure the problem, so I sent it to back Dynon. I overnighted it, and due to their workload etc. it was missed for a day or two. Dynon said they would send me a remanufactured unit rather than have me wait for mine to be repaired. I just received it, they sent it overnight. HUGE THANKS DYNON! I'LL BE FLYING THIS WEEKEND!
