I purchased a Dynon 0-60 amp shunt, p/n 100412-000, for use with my EMS D10. The EMS shows discharge current values approx 3X higher than I expected. I am using -60 to +60, type 1. My Fluke 21 reads a .4 ohms across the shunt. Is this the correct shunt? many thanks Murray Randall

Yes, shunt is correct. Most (likely) amp issues are due to connections whether they be poor quality terminals/crimping/security. You may have done a great job however that's where I'd be checking first :)

The connection terminals all check secure and tight. My Fluke reads .8-.9 ohms. What would you recommend?

Sorry to be insistent here but IF everything is 'secure' AND you are seeing this high discharge with everything that's not needed turned off I'd be checking the crimped terminals.  ie B lead from alternator to shunt to bus & the 2 shunt wires to Dynon.

If you're satisfied that the system is working ok, ie the volt meter is working correctly,  the indication of a high discharge is usually caused by the wiring issues as indicated above.

We had another contributor with a similar problem but persistence finally paid off for him  ;)

BTW - what engine/alternator do you have ?  B lead fuse ? or Circuit breaker ?
