I plan to use 26AWG fusable links as described in the D180 installation guide to fuse the connections between the shunt and the D180. I cannot find an aviation supplier who lists 26AWG wire.
Does anyone know where I can get it or can I simply use 26AWG wire from a hobby store?
Thanks, Doug McLean.

Just use 24ga with 20 ga feeding it.  Works just as good.

Or if you have any Mac/Ray Allen Servo or Flap position sensor wire laying around, it is 26ga.

I took some 22g wire and removed some of the strands. I don't remember just how many. One of my friends calculated how much to remove. I think it as several strands at least.
