Any Li-ion back-up battery issues

Didn't find anything in the search of the forum, so I thought I'd ask.

Has there ever been a thermal run-away (or other serious issue) in one of the Skyview back-up batteries when properly connected to the system?

Dynon is not aware of a backup battery ever having a thermal event. The battery has multiple protections internally. We have used the same battery chemistry and architecture across our D10, D100, and SkyView products over more than a decade.

I assume Lithium iron phosphate cells?

They are LiCoO2 cells, not LiFePO4. We've been using them since before LiFePO4 was commercially available in 2006.
