We have had our D1 about months through the summer and after an initial teething problem, resolved very quickly thankyou, it has worked faultlessly. We have now had our first frosty day with temperatures int he A/C falling below freezing.

The screen cracked !!

We definitely don't like to hear that. Get in touch with our support staff directly at 425-402-0433 or support at dynonavionics dot com.

I2m in the UK, so not easy to have a transatlantic phone call. I bought the unit at Sun n fun and had to have it replaced after first coupla uses as it went crazy with unstable horizon etc. Now the new one when we went to the aircraft last week after the first frosts has got that rainbow colour effect in thescreen where it looks like the screen has fractures inside.

The UK dealer says send them £200 = 50 shipping and they will send for repair - but as this has just been sitting in the clip mount, it must be some fefect in the glass that couldnt stand the low temperature. Its been fine all summer long.

Is there an alternative return process ?.

You can send it directly to us. Can you email pictures of what you're seeing to support at dynonavionics dot com? Also, when it's at ambient indoor temperature, are the rainbows still there?
