Trying to calibrate my AoA on the D180. When I go to the calibration screen and push the START button, for the stall series, nothing happens. No 45 second countdown timer is displayed. Is there another setting somewhere that I missed?Im using the Dynon Heated Pitot/AoA tube.

Thanks, Scott

After you press start, the timer would be just above the menu on the left (where the clock normally is). I don't think that the clock being decluttered affects this, but you might check that it's displayed under SETUP>CLUTTR>CLOCK. Are you doing it in flight or on the ground as a test of the procedure? I also don't think that matters here, but there's a chance it affects the procedure.

I was in flight but did not see the timer. I had the split screen so I will try it again with a full EFIS screen , next time I fly.

Success! Switching to full efis screen allowed me to see the timer get the AOA configured.
