Probably been asked before but I can't find it in the forum. Am I doing the calibration right?

I go to the AOA Calibration mode (D6) and press the STALL button.
I configure and stall the airplane within the 45 second period.
After the stall I wait until the 45 seconds are over.
I press STALL again, set up a different configuration and stall the airplane within the 45 second periods.
After the stall I wait until the 45 seconds are over.
I do this at 4 different airplane configurations.
After the 4 different stalls, I press FINISH.

Is this correct or am I supposed to do something when the airplane is just about to stall?

You have it right. Do a stall withing the 45 second timer, and the unit automatically looks for the highest AOA it sees within that timeframe and uses it as a calibration point. The one thing I'd add is that the calibration routine uses the time before you first push the STALL button (after you've started the cal process) to record the lowest AOA it sees - hence the fast cruise/pitch oscillation part of the procedure.
