Another blow test....
When both front and AOA holes are blown together and when just the Pitot is blown, the altitude shows no variation, but the Artificial Horizon indicates a descent, but no change of altitude.
When the AOA hole is blown on its own, the altitude shows a a drop in height.

The front of the Pitot tube is approx 330mm (13") back from the leading edge.(measured approx perpendicular to the chord line.)

The only port on the EFIS that is physically capable of affecting altitude is the static port. So if blowing into the AOA port moves the altitude, that implies that AOA is connected to the static input on the EFIS. However, this would happen whether or not you also blew into the pitot at the same time, so the other half of your test has us a little stumped.

We will  redo the check and make sure that we have given you the right info. Can you confirm that the pitot should work from its current position?

Hard to say for sure. Further forward is better, and different wings have different airflow characteristics that will ultimately affect performance. As previously stated, you're towards the rear end of what is preferable.

A recheck of the "blow test":
Blow pitot only with AOA open:
ASI inc; AOA correct sensing; no alt change
Blow Pitotwith AOA blocked:
ASI inc; AOA correct sensing; no alt change
Blow AOA with Pitot open:
Altitude indicates a descent
Blow AOA with pitot blocked:
Altitude indicates a descent
Blow both Pitot & AOA:
ASI inc; AOA correct sensing; altitude indicates descent.

Does this clarify?

It sounds like you have your AOA line connected to your static port on the EFIS instead of the AOA port. There is NO WAY that changing the pressure on either the AOA or Pitot inputs on our system can affect altitude, unless its been opened up and plumbing switched around after it left the factory.
