In a word - no. The sky view 'controls' the AP however you may need to update the software version of the servos.
Are you upgrading from a legacy system & want to use your existing servos?

No - not upgrading. I've just bought the Skyview system and was wondering if the AP74 could be used as a complimentary unit. It just seems that the Skyview controls so many "systems" that a lot of time could be spent scrolling thru menus and twisting knobs!! A separate (and simple) control for the AP would just make things easier!

With the SV I don't think controlling the AP will be as cumbersome as you think
