Hi,

I've made the decision to install pitch and roll servos into my Bearhawk to enable my D100 AP functionality. Wondering if there is guidance available as to servo selection for that airframe??

SV32 or SV42s?

Thanks,

Ted

We've seen a trend of cable-driven aircraft and tube and fabric cub-style aircraft needing more torque than the SV32 can provide. So we'd advise starting with the SV42. SV52s might be necessary, and if you find you do need them, we'll swap you free-of-charge.

Thanks much for the quick reply! Definately appreciate the swap offer if necessary.

I'm going to go with an SV42 for roll and an SV52 for pitch. The surfaces are all balanced. For pitch I'll use a regular arm servo moving the horn at the stick base as opposed to moving the cables or the bellcrank. I believe that will provide a simpler and more robust solution.

Regards,

Ted
