AP wiring splicing

Looks like the schematic shows that you can splice together the wires from 2 AP servos and just run one set up front. I guess they are uniquely identified in the servo programming. Is this just as good as running both sets of wires all the way upfront? Or am I better off just running both all the way up?

Just curious, how can the HDX communicate to 2 servos at the same time through one wire?

It's just an extension of the Dynon bus, all the Dynon uniots (multiple displays, EMS, Arinc etc.) communicate through the bus and are very well capable of keeping the signals separated
