I have wired up my EMS-220 pins 27/28 to be a Type J thermocouple for TURBINE INLET TEMPERATURE and named that pair "TIT" and then I also wired up pins 35/36 to be an engine cowl temperature sensor using a Type K thermocouple and named that pair "COWL".
The problem is that when I put a heat gun to the cowl temperature probe BOTH the TIT and the COWL temperature indications begin to rise to the exact same indicated temperature (I have not yet heated up the TIT probe to see if the COWL will also rise but will conduct that test when I get home).
Why would they both rise at the same time even though the two probes are nowhere close to each other?
Is there some kind of programming/mapping that I need to do to the EMS?
THANKS!!! :-[
