Hi

just received the Sport Pilot magazine and it show an ad of the AP on page 7, so I figured that since it is advertised, it should be selling already. Is it so? If not, when?

OK Dynon, this guy was a little uninformed but the rest of us have been around for all these post....

How is the beta testing going on the AP, any info you can give us on how well it is going?

Any news on when the AP76 will be in beta?  Any news on when the other more advanced features will get some air time?

Is the hardware ready to ship once the firmware is ready?

What about the install kits/brackets for the RV7?  We have heard little about these, when can I order them?

I'm closing up my wings pretty soon and really like to built in the Dynon A/P servo so any word on when they are being released is welcome.

Thanks

Is it not possible to fit the servo afterwards? What happens if there's a problem with the servo, would you have to dismantle the wing to replace it?

No, but it will be a lot easier to put it in with the bottom skins off then try to do it through the inspection holes :)

We'll have an announcement up on our site in the next few days with some more information about release timeframes. Thanks for your patience.

Thanks for the update! It would be great if at least the servo mounting kit would be available soon. That way I can close up my wing and seat the servo later when it is released.

Thanks

And an idea of the AP76 delivery would be nice. I have ordered a plane full of this stuff and just waiting for the servo's and AP76. Not in a desperate hurry as we are still building but it would be great to know roughly when.

Thanks
David

PS did you guys get my email with the suggestion about flap extension warnings?

The AP76 will be months beyond the AP74 and general AP release. We don't have a absolute date yet, but it will not be before the end of this year.

The AP76 is a direct, drop-in replacement for the 74, and we offer trade in credit, so if you are ready to fly before the 76 is released, you can install a 74 until it is ready.

Thanks for that, the offer may get taken up if the AP76 does not beat my project....... somehow I think you will win the race though.

DB :)

Any thoughts on my suggestion for the D120/D180?
