Autopilot auto-trim adjustment?

I’ve been working thru the AP tuning guide. The results have been very good thus far, but I have run across one minor issue that I’m not certain how to resolve. Often, the aircraft will level off at the assigned altitude and I see it re-trimming the aircraft, but then I can feel the AP fighting slightly with an out of trim condition. Sometimes, the out of trim is very minor, but the servo is intermittently “pushing” to hold altitude. I can usually manually add a bit more down trim and the problem mostly goes away. The AP simply isn’t requesting a sufficient amount of down trim, so the servo is fighting to overcome. By the way, there is no pitch slip occurring in this circumstance. Any suggestion of how to make the AP request the proper amount of down trim? I‘ve also confirmed that there is still plenty of available trim remaining.

Did you do the calibration in the install guide before inflight tuning? There are settings in there you can adjust that might help. Otherwise, I'll defer to someone with more experience in this arena.

Rhino, I did complete all of the ground servo calibration instructions before moving to the inflight tuning Guide. I’ll make a few more flights to confirm that this issue is repeatable.
