What am I doing wrong, it use to work prior to sv10 update. Expert ap. I set a direct to and I am off course, push ap, roll, select NAV, skyview is the hsi source, and nothing happenings...except I keep flying off course. The Nav button is grey and roll hold is green. What did I miss..I have tried on two flights now.

ROLL hold means the plane is being held in the current bank angle, and the grey GPS means it won't switch to GPS until centers the CDI. So if you are roll hold level, it will never turn.

Three options: engage direct from NAV, with no roll first, or engage with the CDI centered, or change to TRK/HDG and point the heading at the course you want to intercept the NAV with.

Thanks, it does in fact work perfectly as you described. Even intercepted a 90 degree angle very nicely.

The logic escapes me, but I'm glad to learn the work-around. If Roll Hold is assigned to a button, it seems that selecting that button should disengage it. Once engaged by the system, the assigned Roll Hold button does nothing.

If you do press the ROLL HOLD button in the AP menu when it's engaged, it should actually disengage that axis entirely.
