Is there any chance that the new software release will allow the Avidyne candy cane feature to be displayed on Skyviews?

What is the Avidyne barber pole feature? The Skyview system currently has the ability to use TAS for Vne. It is constantly computed and displayed dynamically as the beginning of the red overspeed region of the airspeed tape.

The candy cane is a feature that Avidyne displays on the moving map screen that shows what the navigator is going to do next. It is a magenta and white segmented line extending from the existing navigation line being displayed. For IFR work this is a great feature, so you know what to expect next and are not surprised if the navigator gives you a route or course that is not expected. By seeing what is going to happen next it gives you some time to "fix" things if needed. It is currently displayed on the IFD box but not on the Skyview display as it is not supported.

Dynon are the developers working on this for a future upgrade. This is a really neat feature Avidyne has that is not supported yet but would be beneficial to all of your customers with a Dynon/Avidyne setup and may sway some potential customers away from G.
