Is there a way to turn off that damn battery test warning?
I have given up trying to test it, and the audible warning always goes off just as I am taking off, thus alarming my passanger. It is a safety issue because it is not flight critical, and it is training me to ignore the audible warning, which is not good. At some point it will be warning me about something critical and I will ignore it. ! !

I also had a problem with the battery test not going through - version 6.2 fixed that for me.

There is a workaround: Export the settings, edit the following lines in the dfg file and change them to:

battery_test_date=08-12-2013
battery_test_length=45

and load the dfg file.

I sure this is not the way it is meant to be and Dynon will probably fix it. I came across this "feature" when I loaded a a old dfg file (written before the battery test) after the successful test and the system wanted me to do it again.

Don't worry - that won't be going away. We put that there on purpose as a workaround for folks that would rather not know whether or not their battery is actually a battery ;)
