Backlit Rocker Switches for Certified Dynon Panel Install

Looking to source some backlit switches similar to the Aveo Rockrack switches that can be used in a 182 panel upgrade. It is my understanding that the Rockrack switches can’t be used in a certified aircraft.

Who/what says these switches cannot be used?

I am still planning on using these switches in my 182P panel upgrade....my order went in last week. After various discussions with the manufacturer and some A&Ps the consensus is that these can be used.

Switches fall into the 'standard electrical component' category in my experience. I've never see anything that limits you there. Make sure they are rated for the voltage and currant, and let fly!
