Are you trying to power the system off the internal battery exclusively, or are you using external aircraft power? In other words, how are you powering up the system?

Thanks for replying. dont get the email advice that an answer is posted..

regarding your question: we work "normally" : powering up as we intend to fly.. relying on on-board battery only.
we have to disconnect the backup battery in order to be able to have it powered up.

I'm not sure I understand your response here. What is the method (actual switch/button pushes) that you are attempting to use to power on the display? When that doesn't work, does turning on master power also not turn it on until you disconnect the backup battery?

exactly.
i turn on master switch, when backup battery is connected - nothing happens (most of the times), when I disconnect the backup battery - skyview is loaded up.

I’d do all the same ie
1. Turn on master switch with backup (SV-BAT-320) battery connected
2. If nothing happens then disconnect the backup battery or if SV lights up then check what the backup battery volts are via the SV menus.
3. If the backup battery volts are low then I’d connect a battery charger to the main battery, leave the SV on, & charge for a few hours - in this situation, if the battery is good, you should have no more ‘issues’ ;)
